Acropolis - Propylaea

Abstract

Doric order colonnade of the eastern façade of the Propylaea, which served as the grand entrance gateway to the Acropolis. It was designed by the architect Mnesicles, and constructed between 437 and 432 B.C. (but never completed). -MA
