The bazaar in Chefchaouen, Morocco. -MA
Chefchaouen is a popular tourist destination in Morocco, primarily because of its many buildings which are shaded in blue (see B42.184-186). This is why Chefchaouen is also sometimes referred to as the Blue City or the Blue Pearl. Its narrow, stepped streets, bathed in blue color and cutting through the residential and commercial sectors of the city create a mystical aura for the viewer passing through them. -MA
